The Burmese government divided the eVisa into two Myanmar eVisa types: the tourist eVisa and the business eVisa.
The most popular type of eVisa for Norwegian visitors is the tourist eVisa to Myanmar, which allows Norwegian travelers to enter Burma based on a single-entry permit for a maximum of 28 days over a validity period of 90 days from the date of eVisa approval.
Norwegians may also need to travel to Myanmar for business purposes and to help facilitate this type of travel need the business eVisa to Myanmar is available.
The business eVisa is also a single-entry permit, however, Norwegian business visitors can stay in the country for up to 70 consecutive days over a total period of 90 days.
Even though the business eVisa is a single-entry travel permit, a business visitor from Norway can extend the permitted stay of their eVisa once they are already in the country.
